Matt is the founder and president of LANDCORE Engineering Consultants, PC. He founded LANDCORE in 2006, and currently serves in the principal role at LANDCORE, overseeing firm operations and business development. Matt is also actively involved in the initial site planning and permitting strategy for LANDCORE’s clients. Matt has 20 years of experience in the land development field and has successfully designed and permitted residential, institutional, power generation and commercial projects of nearly every scale throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Matt has provided professional testimony before countless Planning Commissions, Boards of Supervisors / Commissioners, Zoning Hearing Boards, etc throughout the region. Prior to founding LANDCORE, Matt spent six years at Bohler Engineering, PC. where he served as Senior Project Manager in the corporate headquarters in Warren, NJ. During his time at Bohler, Matt was responsible for the design and management of mid- to large-scale retail and commercial developments throughout the New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania regions.
Before joining Bohler, Matt spent five years at Robert C. Bogart and Associates where worked he as a municipal engineer. During this period of his career, he worked closely with municipal officials and boards to review development applications, assess ordinance updates and interpretations, and to design and manage capital improvement projects such as road reconstructions, recreation facilities, and emergency service facilities.
Matt currently holds active licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a Professional Engineer. The corresponding license information is as follows:

In 2010, Matt earned the distinction of receiving CDP certification. CDP denotes “Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional” and is received after the successful completion of comprehensive testing. The CDP certification attests to the individual’s knowledge of the full breadth of land development. This includes design, layout, deal structures, leasing, legal documents and considerations, permitting, construction analysis, and financial analysis. The CDP certification attests to the wide array of expertise that Matt has amassed over the course of his career.
In addition, Matt is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Urban Land Institute.
Matt attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1997. He has also completed graduate courses at Lehigh University and actively attends continuing education courses relevant to his field of practice.
